Simmy Murdock
has been with the Washington Suburban Press
Network family since 1999, adding major and
national accounts to the company’s clientele.
Her experience stems from 10 years selling local
and regional accounts for Times Community
Newspapers and Dear Publications. Before that,
she devoted 5 years to working in sales for
Marriott Hotels. Simmy has a passion for her job
and “embraces advertising because it is
creative, sexy, and can make a huge difference
to a business bottom line.” She is also a member
of the
Ronald McDonald House and an active member
of the
National MS Society.
Her passion for life extends beyond the work
world as this native Washingtonian loves
spending time with her friends, family (9
siblings!), her son, and her one-eyed calico
cat. She is also a self proclaimed movie buff
and hopes to write a screenplay one day. Her top
picks: The Godfather and The Wizard of Oz.
